" Prefects' Tribute Night 2007 "
... was definitely a blast.
extract from previous blog post ' without prom or whatsoever, yes our school is THAT sad. no prom, no anything. everything is restricted, pfft. the only thing to make up for it was the Prefects' Night.'
It was finally the time for the annual dinner again, on the 26th of October. and i would say that we former prefects were lucky to be invited back for the night in Holiday Villa as we have not done it for the past two years. therefore, first and foremost, i would like to thank the board and the school for the immense opportunity.
anyway, sarven was our driver for the night, picking up wei ling, irna and i to our final destination. knowing sarven, who applies the great Malaysian Standard Time (MST) principles, it was only until 6.15pm that i started preparing myself for the dinner, although the dinner was scheduled to start at 6.30pm. true enough, he came at 7.10pm.

da wei, ivan, xue jieh, rafferty and rui siong were somewhere around.
we were an hour late. so happened ivan, dawei and xue jieh arrived the same time we did. anyway, upon entering the ballroom, we were immediately briefed by kunil, who was our head prefect before jian wei, that we are all required to present some award, and say a few words about the respective awards while we are at it. .... aka impromtu speaking. and .. i was the first! zomg.
i was required to present the Most Promising Newcomer award for both lower and upper secondary with johan halim. unfortunately, the guy couldnt make it to the dinner, so i had to do everything myself. dang. all in all, it went well and smooth. thank god, i didnt speak gibberish xD.

we were constantly amused by the waves of performances, and it was even better that we were all seated at VIP tables xD infront of the front stage w00t! then being our mischievious selves again, we sneaked out of the ballroom and start venturing around, which includes the backstage as well hahaha!

i havent seen irma for a lonnng time, we used to call each other names! haha, she called me sotong and i called her ketam! and of course we resumed the tradition, i was surprised she remembered xD i on the other hand totally forgotten LOL.

obviously there were plenty of new faces, im sure there must have been lots of addition to the board after we left, as i actually seen non-prefects being prefects this year hahaha! let alone those kuchi meow form 1s whom i do not know any LOL. haha i think they were actually afraid when i approached one of them HAHAHA!

haha. irna ar irna, next time dont la merajuk! *winks* ish ish must run from your supervision next time hahahaha! control freak LOL. (inside joke)
 i was reunited with siok ai!! still bubbly and ever bully-proned.
upon spotting her, i couldnt help but ran over to have a knock on her head during dinner time. haha she on the other hand, was still having the same old jakun character, who gets excited over the slightest issues hahaha. the only thing she could said when she met me was 'OMGGGG NICHOLAS!!!!!!!!!!! OMGGG!!' -.-" hahahha.  irma on the left and wei ling on the right.
haha it was good to see wei ling again, she was previously from usj4 and we kinda shared the same transport home, only after i left the school she transferred over to usj12. and whatnot, she became a prefect!
 Carol Ann was back from the UK!
it was her mid-term break over at the UK, therefore she took the opportunity to fly back to malaysia to be with her family. so happened she was in time for the dinner, weee~ she only had 2 weeks though, and would be on her way back to the UK next saturday.

why girls favour chopping their hair recently anyway? xD but nevertheless the ones i known who chopped theirs all look better than before!

sarven and kabilan were blasting jokes towards to crowd, which was rather entertaining, with kabilan and sarven, there will be no tomorrow LOL. i was in a similar position, only difference was that i was alone T.T

didnt see these two for a year! of course theres still min hui and pui len, but those two arent prefects so yea didnt manage to see them =/ anyway, haha xiang ping is still the loudest, her voice can literally pierced ur eardrums man! didnt manage to chat much, as they had performances to prepare for.

haha esther was role playing some cassanova, while irna was randomly selected as the victim. hahhahaa. it was very random, and i was just lucky to be at the right place at the right time to be able to get a shot LOL.
the teachers were glad to see us as well. Puan Ong, my favourite chinese teacher of all times were there. and of course the upper level management were of course all present as well, only Puan Maizan wasnt there =/ tho it feels rather weird for the 1st time without seeing Maizan at the helm. and of all teachers, my other chinese teacher, Puan Cheah who was also my class teacher back in form 1, couldn't recognise me! T.T hahaha well maybe i shouldnt blame her, in actual fact, we did not see each other for a year! nope i didnt bump into her during the spm results day. so yea well .. =/

L-R : wei hsien, irna, nic, sarven, wei ling and esther. the dinner ended at 11pm. overall, the atmosphere and service were of satisfaction. the only really rip off part was the food. variety aint much, only about 6 dishes? and not to mention i didnt really ate much, well infact most of us didnt either. only irna was busy stuffing herself with cakes LOL.
and the night was still young anyway xD went over to mamak before heading home at 1am. and so concludes the annual prefect dinner for year 2007, and all the best for the upcoming SPM to my fellow form5s juniors!
