Ed and i decided to catch the late night movie for Shrek 3 at Summit USJ yesterday nite. Our lecturer Ms. Geetha has managed to book the tickets for us, and along with her friends and some other students and of course our beloved class rep Philip, went along to watch the movie.
the movie was scheduled to start at 11pm but we were there early, and so Philip, Ed and i went over to Mandy's to have a quick dinner. well only Ed was eating anyway. but there's way beside the point, in Mandy's Philip and i spotted something hilarious! and they actually displayed it on their counters!
but anyway the food there wasnt really nice, Ed felt conned but well partly perhaps they are rushing to 'close shop' and so happened we were the last customers.

It was an early start to the day, as i had to wake up at 5.30am in the morning to prepare myself for the 6.30am carpool ride which would transport me to Safety Driving Centre (SDC) for the driving exam. I recalled that i couldnt sleep the night before partly due to nervous-ness, heh.
anyway, the transport was late. but nevertheless it reached my house safely, and i hopped aboard the Saga and sat silently. and waddaya know, Amanda was sitting right beside me! haha it was a surprise i didnt notice at all that she had to wave to get my attention, roflmao.
we had a safe journey despite the early morning jam, and we reached SDC approx. 7.45am. our instructor was there to give us some last minutes advices and tips, and some precaution steps. then i heard a familiar voice beside me, i couldnt recognise her at 1st. it took me around 5 seconds to realise that Herosha was actually standing beside me. yes, 5 secs is very long xD.
Met this friendly looking girl whose name's Melody who was also sharing the same transport with me and the others. She had that erm .. how do you say, girl-next-door look on her. but well, we got along well and in within minutes, Amanda, Herosha, Melody and I were all talking to kill time while waiting to get called for the driving exam. (Amanda was there to redo her slope test) the remaining 3 of us were all first timers.
Soon, Amanda was called for her slope test as i think they gave priorities to those who were there to retake the exams. and being an onlooker killing time to be called for the road test, its time to flash the camera!

rest assured, Amanda wasnt driving the above kancil xD. but anyway, she made it at the end of the day and left the area way ahead of us to start her celebrations.
8.30am the whole examination started. and it was only until 12.45pm that my number was called to do the road test T.T goodness! the road was DEAD jam due to lunch time hours. well, actually i kinda find that some sort of blessing so that i was able to drive slowly xDDD. but anyway, managed to pass the road test with a 16/20. so yea i m glad although the lady tester crossed the 'adjust side mirrors' and 'check free gear' and i did it clearly infront of her.
no complains. she was with sunglasses xD. (if u get what i mean *wink* )
it was onto another long wait before attempting the slope test. Melody and i got bored as time were moving so slow that we killed time by taking pictures, well actually more like she took most of them xD.
the slope test followed by the side parking and then the 3 point turn proved quite a challenge as i was not too familiar with the car setup, especially with the clutch and the accelerator. but then, i guess lady luck was really shining, that i got through them after a little struggle at the start. Ying Wei even phoned when i was about to do the side parking, ...... and i answered it -.- LOL.
anyway, i got my P licence 3 days later and thus a new drifter, err i mean driver was borned. ummmm forgive me for the lameness xD.

*phew* it feels like ages since the last time i blogged, and i tell you, i have totally no idea where to start! this is worst than being in maze xD
anyway, Mr. Jayan, our lecturer for Paper 3 Maintaining Financial Records decided to have extra class on a Saturday, which was well yesterday. the attendance for the class was optional, but being *ahem* hardworking, i have decided to turn up for class =D well of course, so did kay sim, so did edmund, so did natalie, rina, philip, ......... well all i wanted to say was, the attendance was fantastic! the total numbers in class were equivalent to a football team!
even the way we sat in class resembled a football formation. 6-2-2 LOL! yes, with philip and Mr. Jayan being the two strikers, Dan Dan and Chia Yet the midfielders, Kay Sim, Edmund, Rabiatul, Rina, Natalie and I sat in a row to fill in the defenders boots xD. nope, no goalkeeper! LMAO.
well, Mr. Jayan ... was late for class =O wahhaa, so in his absence, we decided to have a little extra co-curicullum.

well i sorta suggested it out of boredom hahhaa. the above clip was taken by kay sim with edmund's camera. (edmund brought camera!) so the fact was, i wasn't capable of beating edmund. (hey i knew from the start k!) xD just want to main hantam to see whether can beat him anot mah .....
with all that, Mr. Jayan still wasnt in class. Edmund's camgigolo skills surfaced and well he took shots of us and the rest LOL but well, u can view the pictures in his blog. there isnt any need for me to repeat them here xD.
but all in all, the class was okay. i mean, being Jayan's class, what more can u ask for. he's definitely helpful and i think a little bit more efficient when there's less students in the class. we can actually debate questions and answers! lol.
oh gosh, accounting? NEVER EVER TELL ANYONE ACCOUNTING IS EASY! hahhaha. but it al requires hard work, which i m stil very reluctant to put in =p shiet, procrastination! someone, please slap me in the face. kay sim, do that the next time u see me xD.

anyway, allow me to organise my posts as i have so many things to update, some perhaps i might have lost interest in posting them. hahaha. but the thing is, i m back active in the net again and yea you guys can start seeing me appearing in MSN again xD
finals are approaching so well wait perhaps i shall remain silent for the remaining week as i need some serious hard work if i am to pass this June taking, my paper 5 have taken a flop since the 1st exam but well .... i just need to study T.T if not i have to wait damn bloody 6 months to take the next examination.

since i practically had the day off, i somehow got fed up of waiting for the oh-so-lazy technicians to pay my house a visit after a blardy damn week to fix my darn connection problems. and so here i m, in sunway university college, with my laptop, utilising the WiFi connection here, to find out what i have been missing on the net. =D
mind helping me to diagnose my connection problem?
my modem is perfectly stable. with the adsl lights and all NOT blinking. the computer stated that LAN is connected, yet i couldnt connect to the internet.
any ideas? chris? ying wei? anybody?

Kuala Lumpur [PART I] | Thursday, May 03, 2007
" Kuala Lumpur was never what it used to be ... "
anyway, went on a family outing to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. ahh well sounds odd to go on a family outing, but hey once in a while, its good to keep the family together, well even if the destination was just around Kuala Lumpur, lol.
the 4th tallest sky scrapper ... err was it? xD
anyway, we headed over to the KL Tower, not for sight seeing mind you, we have been there when i was much younger, so i ain't jakun just for the info xD. the reason we decided to pay 'Menara Kuala Lumpur' a visit was to try out the new tourist attraction, the Flying Fox Park. discovered it not long ago as my father brought my cousins from Sandakan, Sabah for a city tour last week.
its about time i turned patriotic LOL.
the flying fox requires you to jump off a platform and glide all the way to the next lower platform, sounds easy? well of course it is, if ur not afraid of heights that is. my guts were challenged. haha. yea, well as most of you people know, i .... err am quite afraid of heights ><" but nonetheless i go against all odds to muscle it out. and waddaya know, i ended up going 3 times!
i see it! the stairway to heaven! lmao.
its the jumping off part that was scary, the rest was just .... well ride along with the winds lol. the rate wasn't all that friendly though [RM30/adult and RM15/children] but parents were nice enough to pay for our excitement. me and my siblings were winners for the day, lol. (well since our main intention of visiting the KL Tower was for this thing anyway)
the AJ Hackett crew members who were responsible for the safety of the attraction.
wanna get a preview of this thing? hmm, well my dad did took a video of us performing the 'stunt' ... just promise you don't laugh at me xDDD. wahaha, forget it, i knew you guys would anyway, i looked dumb LOL. alrite, here's the short clip then.

note:well i m kinda blogging while waiting for the 2nd Champions League semi-final between AC Milan and Manchester United to begin, match kicks off at 2.45am. Shall it be a repeat of 2005 final between AC Milan and Liverpool or shall it be Manchester United going against Liverpool in an an English final? well, gotta stay tuned then!

i stayed up.
despite having my 2nd driving lessons at 9am the next day, i stayed up to watch the second leg of the Champions League match between Liverpool and Chelsea. the match was at 2.45am in the morning, woot woot being a loyal liverpool fan i had to watch it!
so glad i didnt stayed up for nothing.
they did it. 2 years ago, they knocked Chelsea out in the semi-finals, in 2007 they did it again! and its all thanks to Daniel Agger's surprising low shot into the net after Steven Gerrald's free kick caught the Chelsea's defence off guard!
honestly, it was a miracle Liverpool managed to held on till the end, i had several heart attacks throughout the game when Chelsea advanced on the attack with the ball lol. but Reina was good to hold off the offence, especially's Drogba's powerful shot. phew ~
after extra time and all ... it was into penalties, as the aggregate was tied at 1-1. i was biting my nails, i could swear i almost bit them off! xD when Robben missed for Chelsea, a surge of delightment filled me, and when Geremi's one was parried off by Reina, thats it! the game is for Liverpool to take.
and so i slept at 6am.
woke up at 8.15am to get ready for my 2nd driving lesson. Mr. Ng had me drive down to Safety Driving Centre via the Federal Highway, the highway was fine and i drove up to 70km/h xD. He had me practiced the exam route for a few times, the hard times came at the wrong time. i was having much difficulty controlling the clutch and my lack of focus basically ruined my day. i had several 'died' engines, which i couldnt recall as it was too many times lol. my car almost rolled backwards to hit into a SUV as i forgot to hit the brakes before pulling the handbrake at the traffic light =.=
well, i was scolded. uh huh. =/ haha there was once i forgot which gear i was in LOL. and the lack of coordination between my legs and the brain made things tougher.
anyway, hit the highways to return to Subang Jaya, ironically the highway part didnt troubled me at all. guess i only had difficulties with 'irresponsibledriverswholovetobullyLlicenceholders'. xD
went down to KL in the afternoon. more on that in the next post then =)

First Road Driving Experience | Tuesday, May 01, 2007

anyway .... had my first lesson after obtaining my L licence, which most of my friends addressed it as the Loser's Licence. oh well .. lol.
he drove over to my house, with the 'nicely-decorated-with-L' kancil at 8am on monday morning. Being already half excited, i hopped onto the car not knowingly is he the right person to teach me just incase he decided to kidnap me LOL. and off we go, along the way, he taught me basics, functions, yada-yada ... those stuff of things i guess most of my peers already knew. once again, i know i m slow. xD
at first i thought he would drive over to the TP area, but instead he made a turn into usj 11. (the Da Wei - Ivan area) and he allowed me to drive a few rounds there. gosh, being behind the wheels is a completely different feeling. a quote from me in pei yi's blog 'the car actually moved!' learned most of the basics quickly, however the engine died once as i released the clutch a little bit too fast xD. gear changing is fun! nope, no 'crack' sound.
after a bit of driving around, the rubbish truck came in my way -.-" gigantic, huge, ... smelly? haha. i was lucky it didnt do me any panic moments.
then, it was onto the road then, as i were to drive myself home from usj 11. tension filled me, honestly. and to add to that, a sports car was tailing me so close -.-" i even had stares from some drivers, which made me wanna step down and display the holy finger. xO
i reached home safely, but almost scratched against my father's car which was parked outside of my house -.-" phew. i could swear if i actually damaged my father's car, i would have ended up .........
screw the lollipop robber part please xD.
