the animals are proud to be malaysian residents too.
Its the 50th time Malaysia is celebrating its independence, and to be honest i have not been out of the house on 31st August for the last 17 years of my life. so this year, i have decided to have a change for once, and crashed over to the National Zoo.
about 50 37 of us gathered in FGA USJ at 8am before making our way to the zoo by bus. approximately 45mins drive after moving out at 9am, we finally arrived at our destination.   after much wait, we finally got our tickets. 
check out how long are they. and those are not all. w00t.
it was time to enter the zoo. yay!
 
giraffes were first, amanda and ee leen were quick to take a photo.

im in love with my birdie shots.  then i found four mammals humanoid species up for display.

'i see the rays of hope!' we stopped for lunch at 12.30pm. Fast food KFC style were up for grabs, and we resumed our trip with calories to burn at 2pm. 
goodness! these otters are just too adorable! my camera battery died out on me, and i was surviving on its reserved energy which wouldnt last long if i take continuous shots, therefore i spent the rest of the journey taking pics only when i feel its necessary xD hit the highways at 4.30pm, and was flat when i got home. sunburnt, and exhausted. haha, what a way to celebrate independence. w00tzorz to all malaysians.
