the animals are proud to be malaysian residents too.
Its the 50th time Malaysia is celebrating its independence, and to be honest i have not been out of the house on 31st August for the last 17 years of my life. so this year, i have decided to have a change for once, and crashed over to the National Zoo.
about 50 37 of us gathered in FGA USJ at 8am before making our way to the zoo by bus. approximately 45mins drive after moving out at 9am, we finally arrived at our destination.   after much wait, we finally got our tickets. 
check out how long are they. and those are not all. w00t.
it was time to enter the zoo. yay!
 
giraffes were first, amanda and ee leen were quick to take a photo.

'i see the rays of hope!' we stopped for lunch at 12.30pm. Fast food KFC style were up for grabs, and we resumed our trip with calories to burn at 2pm. 
goodness! these otters are just too adorable! my camera battery died out on me, and i was surviving on its reserved energy which wouldnt last long if i take continuous shots, therefore i spent the rest of the journey taking pics only when i feel its necessary xD hit the highways at 4.30pm, and was flat when i got home. sunburnt, and exhausted. haha, what a way to celebrate independence. w00tzorz to all malaysians.

" The Great Gathering " we are clearly not talking, but shouting our lungs out.
we had a get-together on last friday, for most of the ex form fives to meet up again despite many mini gatherings held between different cliques over the months. this time, we sent everyone a message. well ok maybe not everyone, but definitely whoever's on the phone list. lol.
well like all great gatherings, not all managed to turn up. some had their own agendas elsewhere, nevertheless, the amount that turned up was enough to give Tanjung Bistro's workers the shock of their life, and perhaps some couples who were might be out on their very first date.
picked some of the guys up at 8.30pm and we were a little off the time when we reached the place as most of them has already warmed up the seats there. we settled down and found ourselves in the mood of shouting all of a sudden xD.
anyway, i shall let the pictures do the talking.

 when there's a camera, a group of ex-twelveans, and many eager camwhorers, nobody could resist the temptation of posing for pictures! xD
 well i see shin yi every now and then, since we are studying the same course in the same college xD only different class. as for mirra, she has now settled down in Taylors Business School doing a foundation course.
 and alia dropped by! she should be back in Doha now. kher jie and ivan are both in Inti College Subang Jaya where as my beloved 'mamami' irna studies in Methodist College.
 my buddy for 5 years, vincent has settled himself down in SMK Sultan Abdul Samad to continue on with Form Six, having to juggle all 5 subjects at once, he certainly has my respect. lol.
 jessica who is pursuing mass communication in Taylors College of Hospitality and Tourism was there to join us as well, along with amanda aka piggy. LOL. amanda is currently undertaking a pre-u programme in Sunway University College.  ying wei is now a proud student of Sunway University College, following my footstepts into taking CAT/ACCA. kim leong on the other hand, is doing foundation in science in UTAR.  wow whaddaya know, the universal 'lala' pose has paid us a visit. Sarven Shan, who is also famous among my bunch of friends, is now ramming his way through A Levels in Inti College Subang Jaya. After much shouting, we decided to call the gathering a day at 11.30pm. After driving shin yi home, the lot in the car well inclusive of me didnt wanna head home immediately. and so after some quick decisions, i drove them over to Baskin Robbins Taipan where i fulfilled a promise i made to amanda. haha.
anyway, i know its tough waiting for me to update xD ahh well, here's one at least. stay tuned for the next then!

" It's a war out there. *shudders* " since when examinations are not sword-clashing wars.
the pain of losing comrades in a battle. i guess CAT/ACCA really gives u the experience of it. though it might not be blood and gore, or guns and bullets ... but i guess sometimes pens and papers give u the mental agony worst than any lethal object could do to you.
for those who dont understand, failing any papers in CAT/ACCA means you gotta retain 6 months to resit the paper.
it just doesn't feel the same in class anymore. old classmates leaving, returning students coming in ... aihz. the original group 3 is even more scattered.  recent class picture taken in Sunway Pyramid, though its not all of them, but i really hope everything stays the same till ACCA.
no im aint in a state of emo. *liar* anyway, well yea, lets all work hard to keep each other on our feet! we will need all the support we can from each other. i know im not such a motivator here, lol but hey its really down to us to see this through till the end. lets start working together. =)

Duo Celebration 2007 | Friday, August 17, 2007
" How often do we get together to celebrate Independence? "
what more, its the 50th year.
It was a day full of outings, it was a total of 17 hrs out of the house. yes, from 7am in the morning to college for the last test, which ended at 11am, from then went over to pyramid with half of the CATs to watch Rush Hour 3, from there we crashed over to Chun Hoe's house, and voila after several days of persuasion from ee leen xD i hit back to sunway university college for the duo celebration, along with edgar, jason and yee piao.
for us to all celebrate independence like this, its great!
the event blast off at 8pm, an hour later than our arrival, with lion dances accompanying the VIPs into their respective seats. significance of the chinese culture for good luck perhaps?
then the hall darkened which followed by some jumpy musics accompanied by rays of lights, it was some laser lights performances, the lights were beautiful as they sort of like danced to the music.
then there were some dance performances. *pssssttt* uh yea, hawt!
finding love on merdeka's day? the duet by Ben and Stephanie melted the hearts of the audiences. uhh yea, sad moments for single buggers like me LOL.
and well what do we have here? Catholic High's very own orchestra band has joined us! talented bunch w00t.
the A Levels themselves played a part in the celebration as well, they have came up with a musical love story play. it was a combination of singing and dancing, which enlightened the atmosphere, some among the crowd were seen singing along as well =)
it was about a girl joining the dance academy to impress her crush, but ended up falling for the instructor, who happens to be a renowned two-timer. her crush, who also had a crush for her as well, ventured out to spoil the two-timer's plot. anyway, noticed anyone familiar in the picture?
the next jaclyn victor ei? ahh well, whether she makes it or not, its not really the matter at the moment haha. with the Jalur Gemilang high up on her hands, she sang 'Standing in the Eyes of the World' with great pride.
what's a merdeka celebration without patriotic songs? yes, the crowd rose to a sing-a-long session of the few famous songs sang during our days in high school. namely, Negaraku, Jalur Gemilang, Keranamu Malaysia, etc.
then at 10pm the even wrapped up, but to the many teenagers, the night has just begun. it was time to hit the dance floor! yes u guessed it, it was clubbing disco time! Edgar, Jason and i didnt hesitate to expressed ourselves, we danced to the music w00t, we were then joined by ee leen.
we dared each other to drag girls out from their seat to dance, but well lets just say we were too modest xDDDDDDD
anyway, edgar gave me a lift home (w00t thx a bunch!) and yea i hit the showers and continue the dance there LOL. ohh yea i was high. hahaha. KO'ed at 1am out of fatigue after sorting out the pictures.

nah, it wasn't dangerous. she's ... fine.
MIA molou idiot asshole period has ended. hopefully =/
and whaddaya know, i m back with updates xD. ahh well, the reader rates had been deteriorating hahaha. ahh yes, i should be studying for taxation! just a short update, no worries, shouldn't take long ... err i guess hahhaa.
oh yes i had a surprising evening, guess what? Amanda drove to college! with her new shiny Myvi. ooooh ~ i wouldn't waste the chance to hitch a ride home, with the reason for her to repay my kindness for sending her home a few fridays ago XD.
and yea .. as a result, i had to walk towards the other end of the carpark. LOL she parked at the other end out of fear of parking 'senget' hahahaha. ok nvm, it's normal for newbies (me too!) to have difficulties in parking at start.
1st thing she said when i entered the front seat of the car, " eh, i suddenly forgot how to drive. " oh my goodness xDDDDD hahahhaa. i didnt know i had such great influence hahaha.
to peiyi, yes watch out for me. lmao.
ok so yea she adjusted her seat, put on her seatbelt, turned the key to ignite the engine. and she reversed. straight. and she asked me again, " eh how to turn out ar? " hahaha cute la. LOL. 
after inserting the car ticket to kiss it goodbye, everything went on pretty well hahaha. ahh i guess having under the same instructor, she couldnt be that bad xDD. well until the fact that she dared me to honk the fella infront! hahaha, at least i was the one wrecking havoc in her car. from turning the radio off, to playing with her wipers, and to her air-conditioning. hahhaa. 
to prove my existence in the car LOL. for all those who know amanda, yes you should know how blur she is in the car LOL. hahahha there were several funny moments, and what more with me being her nemesis, its crap of the crap moments of our life hahhaha. 
she went macho on me. at 1st i thought it was some girlish sunglasses, until i realised how huge it was hahahha. she kept it on until we reached my house, since it was a rather surprise ride, we camwhored in the car w00t. that was a must! hahahaa. as u can see, i m stil very much alive hahha, and i promised her i would give a good review about her driving skills, so yea overall she's a safe driver, like me xDDD. hahaha 'yes amanda, u have proven yourself to me, so lets go racing next time! we race slow slow la LOL. ' ok its t3h back with studies, and for heaven sake the new Proton Persona is 1337! ok random statement, i m off. wait for more updates.
