" The Chronicles of ......... who?! WHAT?! JIAN WEI?! "

ahaha. yes, as the quote suggests, i m doing a post on Jian Wei today. For those who have not known Jian Wei, he's our beloved (yea rite -.-) ex-head prefect of SMK USJ 12. Someone who enjoyed terrorising younger prefects with his scary looking face ... (OK OK JOKING!) haha. well, yea, he was known to the school as someone who is definitely no-nonsense when it comes to work, expecially issues regarding the prefect board. sharp at tougue when debating and .... blah blah blah.

hmm cant say that i knew him all that well, as our relationship before this was only a superior-subordinate thing as i was never in the same class as he is. but fate has it (oh dear ... -.-") Jian Wei and I were dumped into the same class aka Group 3 as we enrolled for the course CAT which would eventually lead us to ACCA.

and so. one who had never known him personally, would suffer a culture shock as this fella. who claimed to be serious or so i heard, is definitely a nutcase in class! hahaha.

the almighty pose =.=" from Ang Jian Wei, proudly accompanied by Edmund's umbrella. LOL. we were having our usual 15minutes break from class and him and i decided not to go down to the cafeteria as both of us were not having the appetite to eat. and then ...... while i was playing with my camera. he got high. again. haha.

Jian Wei has been tormenting Ze Ci and Pei Fang with his disastrous antics, and yea we decided to have a photoshoot session with him -.-"

As Alvin (guy in red) was walking into the class, Jian Wei proudly terrorises him with his 'holy instrument'. being all terrified and shocked, Alvin almost sounded the alarm and went for the security calling SEXUAL HARASSMENT! haha, nah just joking LOL.

and then he started dancing with the umbrella -______-

As the class was pretty empty with only a few souls in it, Jian Wei never stopped doing more stupid stuffs with the umbrella! Ze Ci and Pei Fang were pratically dumbfounded and I on the other hand couldn't have wished for more as I m running short on blog posts wakakakakaka. Armed with Canon Ixus 40 and dangerous XD I managed to capture him on video and pictures!

oh well, he thinks he's cute. (ITS OK, LETS NOT HURT HIS SELF-ESTEEM XD)

Classes were getting hectic as lecturers are rushing to complete the syllabus before the May as to allow more time to do revision with us just before the Finals on 6th,7th and 8th of June. So yea, we need that bit of entertainment to keep us going, and so yea it is pretty fortunate to have Jian Wei in the class. though he is kinda annoying at times (wait, ITS EVERYTIME), but i think without him being in the class, the 'kick' of the class just isn't there! Its no doubt 50% of the laughter in class comes from him.

and then came our beloved class rep, Philip Tan trying to resolve the JW Madness. however, ahh well, he got pulled into the madness as well hahaha.

our devoted and responsible class rep, who beats DHL and FedEx flat down the road.

anyway, to wrap the whole thing up. here's another video disclosing just how silly Jian Wei can be in class. ahh well, its in his nature, or so he claimed. LOL.

Of Tom Yam and Chili Padi | Thursday, March 29, 2007

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to JACQUELINE and EE PING.

" Gosh! What a HOT day it was! "

Our class started at 11am today. a change in our time table as our Paper 3 session on the previous day were unable to commence as the lecturer had lessons with other classes and now that night classes are forbidded to avoid parental complains. anyway, Paper 3 class has been rescheduled from 11am to 1pm on every Thursday. so as class was aproaching its end, Ee Leen had the sudden urge for Tom Yam!

Edmund, Jun Xiong and the others were heading towards Medan (foodcourt) as well. It seemed that the Tom Yam fever hit every single one of us, and off we went! however, as it was raining heavily at that moment. Our spirits were somehow dampened. but Edmund and Jun Xiong were quick to reach for their umbrellas in their cars and off we go into the rain!

As there was only 2 umbrellas and a total of 6 of us, Edmund and I becamed the heroes for a short moment as we dashed towards Medan allowing others, especially the girls to utilise the umbrellas. haha. and yea ... we were drenched!

the OPERATION TOM YAM went on. and every one of us ordered the delicious Tom Yam dish. with the Tom Yam Fried Rice still fresh from my memories, I had decided to settle down with the fried rice, so did Edmund and Jun Xiong. Ee Leen and Natalie however gone with the Tom Yam Noodles.

and down came the tears and sweat. Ee Leen was teasing at me for sweating too much, well DUH! its TOM YAM! and muahahahaha as she was done with her teasings, her turn to sweat was right after that! tears were seen flowing down her cheek as well xD but boy it sure did taste good man, it was definitely fun as all of us were kinda in the same boat enjoying TOM YAM and sweating the hell outta us, haha.

and then it was something i didn't expect. I was sure I had all the chili padis moved to the side of the plate until i bit one of them.

holy crap man! I was hit by an atom worst than any mankind could have forseen. I was basically silenced and tears were flowing like the Niagara Falls. not to mention the amount of perspiration! i was stomping my feet (yea -.-") on the ground as an effort to shake off the burning sensation, haha. my face turned RED immediately without further questions.

unfortunately, my ice-cold longan lychee drink was my only saviour. and it never seemed to be enough to cool me down LOL. and i kept silent, till everything went off. phew ~

Natalie was the only one who appeared calm with the Tom Yam. gosh, now we know who the mean machine is XD. ok maybe Edmund didn't had a bad time with the Tom Yam as well, but dang! Natalie was the one who is significantly left standing. Probably as she grew up in Penang, where spicy food was a norm (well it is a norm here as well) and delicious food was found everywhere.

We successfully cleared our food and headed back to college. another dash under the rain.

class resumed at 2pm till 6pm.

the red hot mean thing.

to my dearest Irna bt Jumahat. | Wednesday, March 28, 2007

" Bubbly Irna is another year closer towards marriage xD "

28th of March. the day everyone (well not everyone, at least most of us) would be excited about. hmm =/ wait, what for we excited pulak LOL. oh rite -.-" Irna Jumahat is celebrating her 18th birthday!!!

Irna, obviously my most loved person other than my family. girlfriend excluded as i dont have one yet LOL. She has been my backbone for the last two years. As i had described in one of my previous posts, she is the one that has been through thick and thin with me. Often the advisor before I do anything drastic, let it be school work or personal affairs, I have to admit I won't be who I am today without a little influence from dear Irna.

It's a wonder how Irna and I got to know each other, because I don't think she is the type that will ever speak to me if she doesn't know me at all! haha. We have both started out our secondary school education in different classes, only have our path crossed as we moved into Form 4. Since then, our friendship grew and the bond existed sub-consciously.

ever looking lovely with her enchanted smile, she can laugh and laugh and laugh like nobody's business. From apek's forced laughters and antics to anything silly in the surroundings, her tears will flow along with her undying laughter. Often the target of bully of the class as well, haha. With Christopher Ho and Ivan Kow, everyday's irritation is guaranteed for Irna! but hey, its what makes our class 5Winzip memorable haha.

there are times during examination, dear old Christopher would irritate Irna by scratching the metal ruler against the window glass (as Christopher's examination seat is often located beside the windows, whereas Irna's often located beside Christopher!). and the screaming's will start. -.-" hahaha. where others would be fully concentrated on their exam papers, Irna will go 'CHRISTOPHER HOOO!!!!!!!!!'

being Irna, she never stops ordering people around! hahaha. but then with her cute and adorable facial expressions, one would stop short thinking that 'hey, let's just help her out' hahaha. and of course, Vincent Ooi aka apek will be her only victim so far LOL. with his APEK nickname widely spreaded out through the whole school, he really have Irna to thank for (oops, or the other way round? XD). Vincent would probably be on the run from Irna ever since the APEK frenzy started, as Irna .. upon spotting Vincent from afar, would proudly yell 'APEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK' across god knows how far. hahaha. then came along the names of 'AH PEK PEK' and 'PEK PU SEN'.

also the Chief Secretary to Ang Jian Wei in the prefect board, she is very well informed with daily grapevines and gossips going on in the board, making decision-makings easier for Jian Wei.

Although the fact that she pulled out from Sunway really saddened me somewhat, but hey we still kept a close contact even after we graduated from high school, so yea I think it wouldn't be much of a problem if she didn't ended up in Sunway at the end of the day, lol.

anywhere, anytime she never fails to provide me a useful advice. I would just have to call her up, and there you go, problems solved haha. anyway, I really couldn't imagine more if she hasn't been in my life. I just really really wanna thank her for everything. =)

anyway Irna.

ENJOY YOUR 18th BIRTHDAY.

Happy Happy Birthday.

Random thoughts | Monday, March 26, 2007

" Somtimes, you just wonder. Is following your heart always the right thing to do? "

hmm =/ you know sometimes how everything around you started to go wrong? or maybe sometimes you just don't feel right about every single damn thing? and that everything doesn't happen according to your will?

that's practically how i have been feeling for the past damn week -.-

sometimes you just wish you could just smile your way away with things no matter how sour or uneventful they are. 'the one who shows emotion first loses' was the quote i saw on Chris's personal message on MSN. seriously, it sounded every freaking way right. I have began to love Sunway University College's rooftop, where I could really go there and cool my head whenever I feel down with things. Looking down to everyday's life was ... i dunno, kinda soothing to me. with the cool wind embracing my face, I somehow felt refreshed.

ahh well, to hell with the emo crap. Its time to spice things up here.

have you ever wonder how would you look like if you're somehow deformed or those sort of things? Ee Leen has been proudly utilising my phone's FaceWarp function to transform us to our worst nightmares. haha.

Intrigued to find out? ^^

Edmund was willing to be her first victim though, with his face gone all totally wrong, he MMSed this picture to his girlfriend and asked her will she still like him if he's like this. LOL.

Natalie didn't managed to escape Ee Leen's mischievious act as well. hahaha. hey, its kinda fun you know =p.

poor Jian Wei was in oblivion when this picture was taken until we began toying with his looks! now he doesn't look so bad now, ei? wakakakaka, definitely suits the role of Head Prefect better now. LOL.

then Ee Leen turned the attention to herself. where she proudly 'syok sendiri' with her self-taken pictures. hahaha.

I tried on myself upon reaching home, as I was too terrified with the thought of me exposing myself to my bunch of friends, as if I wasn't ugly enough already LOL.

and .......

It totally, totally went wrong man. hahaha. I looked like some stupid eggplant, LMAO.

aite, hope its entertaining enough. =)

ok, I m signing off now. till next time ^^

I need a break? | Saturday, March 24, 2007

" More tests to come T.T "

ok. It's relieving that the first Progress Test for Paper 4 and Paper 5 is over. but then, more waves of tests are gonna hit us after next week. one after another T.T. I m so dead.

Lets see I have :

Progress Test for Paper 3 on the 7th.
Progress Test for Paper 4 and Paper 5 again on the 14th.
Malaysian Studies exam on the 21st.
Mock Exam for Paper 3,4 and 5 on the 25th, 26th and 27th.

oh dear, and its only CAT level. cant imagine what awaits me when i reach ACCA Part 2. bah, i chose the course, shall not complain =p.

this is practically what we have been doing for the past one week. study, study and study. talk about nerding XD. Glad our efforts paid off today as we were able to answer most of the questions. however, I won't be too sure of my marks, as they will always go the other way of what i expect but i think i won't fail at least =/.

life in college was as usual. with Ginny and Irna pulling out from Sunway, life has gotten a little less interesting as I won't be able to tease Ginny that often and definitely won't be able to bump into Irna and get pinched on the face LOL. anyway, still would like to wish Ginny good luck in Taylors. and all the best for Irna for whichever college you pick to pursue your tertiary education. and yea ... the amount of Twelveans has reduced! dang! haha.

and yea, i heard SMK USJ 12 got robbed? oh dear, i was stunned when i got the news from my brother, who is still studying there. It seems that 16 laptops were stolen as early as 3am in the morning yesterday. and to think with all the CCTVs in the school, such cases can still happen is definitely .... gosh. Had a feeling its an insider's job as the thief(s) knew where to get the laptops without having to search blindly.

ahh well, rejoice to the safest school in Malaysia.

Just another simple, Normal day. | Wednesday, March 21, 2007

" Progress Test is t3h draining the life out of me! "

Holy crap. Paper 4 and Paper 5 is not as easy as it seems, the amount of facts to be crammed is like ....... WHOA! anyway ... stil surviving -.- LOL.

Decided to take the test in Chee Cheng's blog, since I haven't had any idea about what to post lately. Life's practically filled with studies and lecture notes. Oh well ... =/

How You Are In Love

You fall in love quickly and easily. And very often.

In relationships, you tend to be a bit selfish.

You tend to get very attached when you're with someone. You want to see your love all the time.

You love your partner unconditionally and don't try to make them change.

You stay in love for a long time, even if you aren't loved back. When you fall, you fall hard.

I seriously can't believe how true these tests are. =/ Ahh well, it serves as a reflection of my past anyway, and it certainly isn't a good thing. There are still some stuffs in the past I m stil hanging onto tightly, not willing to let go. sigh ....

anyway, haha no time to be grieving. An update and here it is. Off to study! =D
p.s - wootz, met Irna and Ginny in college today! haha, happy studying! ^^

Good Luck NS-ers. | Sunday, March 18, 2007

" It's funny how you began to miss your friends for their absence "

I guess somehow, Ying Wei and Sarven's departure for the NS training has gotten me to realise how much I truly miss their absence. I m not in any ways gay ok? haha.

sigh .. they have left for their camps today morning, along with Da Wei, Chen Chen and Johan. and a few of my ex-schoolmates which includes Syed Ali. Its like i feel ..... that emptiness is beginning to creep in. I guess somehow Ying Wei has made quite an impact in my life for the past few years, considering the fact that both of us were arch-rivals since Form 1.

It amazing to think how wonderful human relationship could be. I remembered back in the Lower Secondary years, there has never been a day the both of us weren't at loggerheads. We hated each other, oh yeah we do alrite. As we entered the years of Form 4 and Form 5, we began relying on each other .. and ended up best buddies. now who would have thought about that, huh? I was simply amazed as I think back through the years. I guess his absence for a few months would definitely be felt the most on MSN Messenger, sighh.

and of course there's Sarven. His personality is definitely one of a kind, in a good way i mean. I guess there will be no more free rides for the few months to come from him, aikz hahaha. Going out to teh tarik session with him for the past few weeks has definitely worked its way to me, he's definitely a hell of a guy who you must have in your social circle XD.

Da Wei, Chen Chen and Johan's presence shall also be missed, let it from friends or relatives. They are all wonderful people in their very own way.

Anyway, ALL THE BEST for the National Service training, and I shall be constantly praying for the safety of you guys! Stay happy and have fun while you're at it.

the race around Sunway | Saturday, March 17, 2007

" It has been a week of boredom ... =/"

yea, having my Canon Ixus flown off to Taiwan wasn't really that great to be celebrating. the days in college without my camera hasn't been satisfying. Anyway, its a good thing i have a camera phone to substitute the absence of my Canon.

I have pratically been busy running around Sunway today morning. yea, i mean ... really busy RUNNING around. Places include what else than the Pyramid, Sunway Resort Hotel and its surrounding area. So far i have not met any 12eans other than Guan Sheng (phew~) haha. bumped into him in Pyramid.

still unsure of what i m talking about? Allow me to clarify things. Sunway University College was having ' The Amazing G-Race '. It was a one-year-once event thing. The event was organised by the college's very own Student Council. (dang, how i wish i was in it) well, i was in the race at least, haha. yup, you've guessed it, Ee Leen and Jian Wei were part of the organising commitee.

Team 'Fendi'. don't question me about the team name -.- it was the Student Council who gave us those names anyway. My team consists of (from left) Ashrina, Me, Corey and Philip (our amazing Class Rep who resembles the likes of Fed-Ex or DHL courier services. why, u asked? well he's way darn swift and efficient of course!) hahaha. the picture was taken early in the morning, right before flag-off of the race.

The Amazing G-Race adapted the concept from the popular reality show, ' The Amazing Race '. Although it might have no connection to it at all, but the activities and task were close enough to the real thing. We have the G-Block instead of Road Block and G-tour instead of Detour. Both have the same function like the actual Amazing Race.

So yea, you could say i tasted a small portion of what its like to be racing around the world, only this only occured around the area of Sunway. lolz.

This is Ying Xiao, or Xiao Xiao as we would prefer to call her (well actually i sorta got that name from Ee Leen and Jian Wei, heard them mentioning the name several times during the past few weeks). She's our 'shadow' for the day. Yea, each team were followed by a Student Council crew member, just to make sure well .... the sad reality was hopefully we don't cheat. So if the team was running towards the wrong direction, they will have no choice but to run around like some headless chickens as well.

Ee Leen was one of them who followed out on the race. too bad she didn't got our team XD. but then again, it wouldn't make any difference, its not like she will be much help. They weren't suppose to tell us anything =/ haha. Xiao Xiao, on the other hand enjoyed seeing us suffer throughout the whole race, argh! she's one tough nut to crack! lmao. It would seem she would die with the advices rather than sharing them with us! LOL. anyway, she wasn't that bad at the end of the day, as a matter of fact, i have known another friend!

one of the task we had to perform. It involved a great amount of logic and teamwork as teams were suppose to get 2 set of keys to the other side of the angle. So Philip and Corey worked on the one of the sides, while me and Rina managed the other end. We were suppose to complete the task within 2 minutes. It wasn't a very difficult task but as time was running out, this could proved to be nervebreaking. Fortunately, my team managed to finish it with 4secs to spare.

We started off the day with questions involving the physical surroundings of Sunway University College, some of them i was lucky to have spotted the answer while i was walking boringly around the college. haha lucky us! Anyway, it was a normal route info later on leading us to the football field where 2 members of the team were suppose to carry ping pong balls on a spoon with their mouth, with one condition though. keep the wasabi on ur tougue. aikz XD. whereas the other two act as a passer of the pingpong balls and the receiver of the balls. Corey and Rina were brave enough to take on the challege of the wasabi, while Philip was the passer and I was the receiver.

Oh yeah, before the race starts, each team were given a biscuit to protect. think about thoe watikah's we used to have during Prefect Camps. haha. After the pingpong event, it was immediately a G-block route info for us. We proceeded to the side gates for the unknown. Upon reaching the gates, i saw guys freakin out. yes, guys -.- LOL. I immediately volunteered for the G-block, the whole thing has got someting to do with worms LOL. forget earthworms, they don't look abit LIKE earthworms anyway. It was those big, fat .. juicy? yellow worms. and with some crickets to spice up the whole pail. the task? well it was easy of course, dip ur hand into the pail and search for a white ball with marker pen ink. I WENT AT IT LIKE SOME MAD FELLA. i kinda wonder if i killed any of the worms tho? LOL i was basically doing it 'fry noodles style' rofl.

It stinked. holy shiet, it did alright! smelled like some rotten food left alone for a few days, with added aroma on it. well you get the idea lol.

we were onto a G-tour after that, it was a task between Seek or Wash. We decided to do Wash without much thinking as time was of the essence, we only had 3 hours to complete the race. this was the part we screwed up, pretty badly =/. i should have trusted the taxi driver, argh! thinking i was smart, we went around asking shop owners for direction, and all of them pointed to different directions. oh yea, we were suppose to visit some house to wash a car within 15minutes. so instead of venturing into the housing area right infront of us, we went around the industrial area like some blind freaks. took us a whole damn circle to get us back to the stated housing area. i think we had burned around 45mins there =/

but god was blessing us all the time, other teams got bigger cars like BMW or simply some Proton Waja and stuff. we were lucky enough to get a Kancil! so the washing was swift and we were asked to claim RM5 from the owner of the car. Well, asking the owners to wash their car for RM5 wasn't THAT ALL EASY at all though. Malaysians -.-"

anyway, there were a few good samaritans, however as we were late to arrive, most of them already had their cars washed =/.

*tired, tired, tired ......*

n it was onto the keys event after that. Upon finishing the task, we were off running to Sunway Pyramid. Half way down the road, i had a slight leg cramp but was lucky to be able to continue. and it disappeared after we reached the main entrance of Pyramid. Here, we were asked to gather 3 logos of different fast food outlets! with me knowing the place from inside out, it didn't cost us much time here. Along the way, we even approached a lady on her day out, asking her to give us 5 lipstick marks on a tissue paper. It was one of the 10 items we will have to find throughout the whole race. My teams managed to complete 9/10 stuffs given to us to find.

the fastfood logo's were easy, but the task after that got us abit confused. what on earth were ice-skating pebbles??? anyway, didn't took us long enough to figure that its somewhere located in the ice-skating rink. we went down there in a flash, dashing passed some bizzare customers. ahh well, we didnt have time to stop and look haha. Completed that with the condition we surrender the RM5 we got from the car wash to exchange for two pebbles from one of the shop located there.

and then, off to Sunway Resort Hotel. It was G-tour again. this time it was between 'Pick' and 'Count', we decided on 'Pick' immediately again, and the task was to fill the garbage bag to its maximum capacity within 3 minutes. Honestly i freaked out at first, how on earth are we suppose to fill it up within 3 blardy minutes. but God was on our side again as we were led to the dumpsite, and we basically took whatever cardboards and chlorofoams and stuffed it into the bag. I never thought the idea would work, but we got through it!

we went to the shoplots beside the Pyramid after that. the route info stated for us to get a printed tatoo from the stated Tatoo shop. we were given a map. but .... no names of the shop was given. dang! lol. fortunately we managed to find it, thanks to Philip's observance.

It was the Ming Tien coffeeshop later on. there, my friends Andrea and Edmund were waiting for our arrival. they volunteered to help in the race and were assigned as station masters. We were asked to pick a number between 1-4, being the team captain, the rest looked onto me to decide on the task. I was kinda out of breath already haha. Anyway, i picked the number 2 without hesitation. oh dear, we were asked to pick a partner among the people in the coffee shop to dance waltz. LOL. we turned our attention to Rina, as girls would definitely have the advantage of finishing the task quickly. However, most of the men chickened out =/ but we were able to get a young man to perform the task with her. good lord bless thee soul. haha. ahh well, the young man was abit shy tho haha.

the next route info led us to a playground in the PJS housing area, and from that playground we were given another route info to proceed to a house at the other end of the area. @.@ oh goshh .... lol. my teammates said that i wasn't looking all that well, aikz ... damn haha. yea i admit i haven't been working out since the Chinese New Year starts. haha. but .. i was proud to say that i was much lighter and it was definitely easier as i was basically running all the time. ^^

we reached the house, and were asked to light candles with a box of matches under 2 minutes. the team before us lighted around 47 of them, and being out of breath i seriously doubted that we could repeat their feat. to my surprise, we actually managed to light 80 candles! of course, me being the slowest, but Corey and the others were fast enough to cover my weaknesses haha.

i m t3h dead-ed. LOL.

sadly, our 3 hours time limit was up after that, and we couldn't make it to the next G-block in time. Xiao Xiao asked us to proceed back to the college to wait for the results. yea, we walked back to the college @.@ from what i heard from the other teams, the G-block event wasn't at all easy like the worms. teams were asked to pick two of its members to perform the task. the task? food of course. yay? how about adding large chili pades and onions (a complete whole) to the fray? selected team members were suppose to eat the chili pades and onions without any water. after they finished eating, they were given water alrite, only thing that it wasnt water at all. they were given bittergourd juice! yuckz.

we were close to finishing the race, only missing the G-Block and the last stop back in college. I have no regrets as our team showed a great display of team spirit and high team morale. I really really have to thank my teammates for the wonderful memory and experience. i think if it wasn't for their support, i might have collapse half way through already! it was definitely their passion and support that kept me going towards the end.

Team Fendi looking all tired after a whole long day. we were back in the Students Service Department to wait for the announcement of the 1st and 2nd Runners-up and of course the victorious ones for the day.

we didn't win. haha, it was expected tho. hey, i didnt play to win ok. haha, we all just wanna have some fun together! and it was fun alrite. the friendship between the four of us has definitely gone to greater heights.

Ee Leen told me the results later on. It seemed that although we missed the G-Block and got deducted a massive amount of 5points, (oh yea, we were all judge based on our performances on each task, basically the faster we are, the more points we deserve, so naturally the ones to finish the race first isnt going to be the winner) and yea, with our deducted points, we still managed a 15th placing! not bad, certainly not bad at all! there were a total of 22 teams participating in the event, and to think my team beat a total of 7 teams was satisfying. haha.

the only setback for the day was that we wasted too much time on the 1st G-tour. ahh well, its the fun and experience that counts! We all returned home feeling proud of our achievement and were all physically exhausted as well. time for a good time sleep? haha that was what i have been doing for the whole evening.

we shall be looking forward to the next one, well if there's gonna be anymore this year. haha.

You Have a Melancholic Temperament

Introspective and reflective, you think about everything and anything.
You are a soft-hearted daydreamer. You long for your ideal life.
You love silence and solitude. Everyday life is usually too chaotic for you.

Given enough time alone, it's easy for you to find inner peace.
You tend to be spiritual, having found your own meaning of life.
Wise and patient, you can help people through difficult times.

At your worst, you brood and sulk. Your negative thoughts can trap you.
You are reserved and withdrawn. This makes it hard to connect to others.
You tend to over think small things, making decisions difficult.
yea so i guess somehow its true =/ ...

Sunday Night Party | Tuesday, March 13, 2007

Our dear friend, Edmund held a belated birthday party on Sunday, the 11th. A group of 5 from CAT Group 3 were invited to his mini gathering which includes me, Ee Leen, Kay Sim, Rina and Natalie.

We arrived at his house, which is situated in Bandar Baru Klang at around 7pm. The crowd began to flow in after 8pm, and waddaya know, it wasn't a MINI GATHERING at all!! haha. A mixture of ex-Acmarians and ex-ACSers filled the house, if i wasn't wrong there was an estimate amount of 30 including the 5 of us from CAT.

being outnumbered, we CATs were keeping mum all the time XD.

we were there early, so Natalie, Ee Leen and Rina took the oppurtunity to 'break' my camera lens. nah, their efforts failed, not photogenic enough! LOL.

We were basically the strangers that night, as all of them seemed to know each other XD. haha, our only area of movement was around the piano! kesiannyer~ hahaha. However, we got to know some Acmarians which included Katheryn, Chris and his girlfriend whom i forgot her name. and a whacko fella from ACS, Ivan.

another attempt at my camera lens. Proved that Canon Ixus cameras contained a hard and solid lens! LMAO, forgive me i m in a very crappy mood now. haha.

the food was great. Fried Mee Hoon, Chicken Curry, Fried Chicken and Pizzas were served that night. and we sure had a wonderful time stuffing our stomach with the assumptious feast. (say thx to ur mum, ed ... the food was great!) the crowd was watching the match of the night, Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspurs. There was only 1 Chelsea fan at that night as the rest of the crowd turned their backs on Chelsea supporting Spurs instead.

and so the crowd was cheering like mad as Spurs scored a goal at the 4th minute from start, and went on to lead 3-1. However, Chelsea kept their heads in the game and came back drawing the game at 3-3.

Edmund received some boxers for his birthday. and he was very eager to try them on, n guess what, i managed to get a shot of him!

and we were bored so we went out of the house to play some card games. there's where Katheryn and Ivan joined us and so we got to know each other better.

along the night, i played around with my camera and managed to grab a shot of me and Ee Leen.

Edmund later suggested we take a group photo of his current classmates, aka us. and so, a happy family photo was taken.

and another complete photo of those who attended right before we leave at 11.30pm.

the night concluded with farewells with our newfound friends and the host himself as well. After dropping the rest of my friends home, my dad and I went home feeling all tired and exhausted.

The Result. | Monday, March 12, 2007

" SPM results ar? BANGAN! Got 'C' ar! "

Anyway, i got up at 8am today as my friends and i had agreed to meet up at our former high school, SMK USJ 12 at around 9.30am. I was the first to arrive, and saw a few of my prefect juniors hanging around the bicycle shed of the school. Went over to check on updates on their lives and vice versa.

My friends were late. lol. the crowd began to appear after 10am, but the results were not ready to be taken yet as our 1st Deputy Headmistress has not returned from her task of collecting the students results. (gulp)

It was the time for many who have not met each other for a long time and for NS trainees to see their friends once again. Most of them were indulged in their conversations with their old time buddies.

Finally, the moment of truth has arrived. We were ushered to the canteen to retrieved our results. '' This is it mannn ........ ''

'' YESS AHH!! YESSSSSS!!!!! "

Ang Jian Wei was the first to break the silence as he was the first to retrieve his results, and there he went berserk as he scored a set of flat As, which include 9A1s and 2A2s. I was the 2nd in my class (Jian Wei wasn't from my class) to obtain my results. It was the most tensed moment of my life as i checked out each subjects grade ONE by ONE!

Anyway, if u all wanted to know how i fared. I got 6A1s, 1A2, 1B3, 2B4s and a C6 -.-", which sums up to the result of 7As, 3Bs, 1C. it was t3h super wtfness ....... my blardy Biology got C6. bah, i knew i screwed up pretty badly, but NOT THIS BAD! haha. Anyway, my results were of satisfactory, so no complains. the only drawback was the C6 part, lolz.

Ee Leen's results were better than mine, so obviously she's happy with it! haha.

Our school weren't able to make history yet again, the straight A1 blessing eluded us once again as Christopher Ho came close to becoming the first student of SMK USJ 12 to obtain flat A1s, he scored a whoping 10A1s and 1A2. Each classes' Form Teacher seemed happy to see the students again, whether its about the results or they really do missed us still remain a mystery haha.

smart people who were all smiles for the day!

We exited the canteen as it was getting pretty stuffy in there, and headed towards the 'Dataran'. There, friends were comparing their results and congratulating each other for their excellent performance. Some teachers came over as well to check out with the students' results. There were also a handful of those who felt they could do better, which kinda includes me as well hahaha. however, those were the ones who went into the extend of sobbing for not getting the results they wanted.

the reds! obviously satisfied with their results! from left it was me, Kok Kuan, Jian Wei and Christopher.

After that, 15 of us were off to Pyramid to 'celebrate' the success of our SPM results. hahaha. We started off with stuffing ourselves with the food in Sushi King, muahahahaha.

We walked aimlessly after that, and finally decided to watch a movie. So we made up our minds to see what 'Bridge to Terabithia' has to offer. I even met Edgar and his group of friends, they were about to watch the same show as well.

IT WAS A BAD CHOICE, DOWNRIGHT BAD.

perhaps some might find it amusing and rather entertaining, but we were somehow lost in the movie plot halfway through the show. the show was basically about two kids with amazing imagination who managed to see things their way in the forest not too far from their backyard. Anyway, more suitable to kids.

'' If you like violence, don't watch this show " was the quote given by Siah Ying Wei himself. Point taken, and i agree. XD

Took the Rapid KL home after that at 7pm. this pretty much summed up the day.

" You have got to watch this BLOODY show! "

with the exam pressure off the shoulders, I have decided to go for a movie with a friend right after the examinations held yesterday. With the trailer out a month ago, this movie '300' was definitely on my MUST-WATCH list and since its out now, we took the oppurtunity of our free time to visit GSC Summit and experience the THX effect.

bloody hell. take a look at what they stamped on the ticket.

Have i told any of my Da Vinci Code experience in the past year? haha, yea it was screened last year and created quite an issue among Christians. but we are not to discuss that issue here ^^. Anyway, my friends and I were kicked out of the cinema. Why? Da Vinci Code was rated 18PL then. so being 17 ....... LOL. they blardy checked our ICs man, and we were caught red-handed!

guess what? Our ICs weren't checked this time -.-. i was waiting for them to check my IC so I COULD SLAP IT ON THEIR FACES! Oops ..... XD.

Anyway, enough of my rantings. lol. 300 is definitely an AWESOME show. I have not watch a movie this spectacular since 'Troy'. Forget 'Alexander The Great', all i remember about that show that it was a complete waste of time and money and that Alexander is gay -.-"

The movie was made based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller. It tells the story of the Battle of Thermopylae where King Leonidas, the King of Sparta and his 300 finest spartans go head-to-head with Xerxes almighty Persian army. well, its 300 against 1,000,000 that is.

It all started when this Persian messenger came to Sparta asking King Leonidas to spare water and land as offerings to Xerxes, the God-King. (well it seems Xerxes self-proclaims King of the Kings and Gods of the Gods). In Sparta, Spartans never surrender. Spartans never retreat. and so King Leonidas kicked the messenger down into some sort of well? -.- along with the slaughterings of the escort party by fellow Spartans.

then being Xerxes, the King of all Kings .... sure lah he BOH SONG. XD. Why 300? It was due to the law stating that Sparta will not be involved in a war during a certain period of the year. and that season .. is now. so, King Leonidas defies the Council and led 300 Spartans into battlefield.

Ok shall not spoil the show further. Watch it yourself!

the awesome part about the show is that, when the violence and gore starts, you wish it never ends! There was until a part it was so intense with all the killings and choppings and dismantlings and all of a sudden it was talkings again. I FELT BORED during that period! LMAO. I want them to cut the crap and continue killing. (ok i m being a psycho here) LOL.

with a mixture of politics, myths and some insane gore, 300 proved that it would catch the attention of many. the will and the mentality of Spartans are really good teachers to future generations. NOT AS IN CALL YOU TO GO KILL LIKE SOME CRAZY BABOONS LAH. the Spartans are brought up from young with only one rule, " Never surrender, Never retreat, and Glory will come. " Youngsters today give up too easily upon stumbling into small problems, if we are able to practise the Spartan mentality. i believe most of us would be successful leaders in the future!

so, please do watch the show. If violence and gore and a hell lot of bloodbath interest you, 300 is definitely the show for you!

Good Day to all.

All in a Day's Work | Saturday, March 10, 2007

"Oh shoot! SPM results out next monday ar?!"

Anyway, the finals for Paper 1 and Paper 2 are over! the feeling of doing Computer Based Examination (CBE) wasn't good at all man! probably due to the fact that the results were instant, as in after u click 'exit' ur marks will be shown on the computer screen!

Fortunately, i did farely well. Scoring 80% for Paper 1 and 76% for Paper 2. Wasn't expecting that high for Paper 1 anyway as i wasn't very good in financial accountings all along, but the results were of satisfactory, so no complains =D.

Went for a movie after the exams! ^^

Later at night, we had a mini gathering at Tanjung mamak stall at the USJ 9 area. So called gathering to 'destress' before getting our SPM results haha.

Vincent and Kim Leong enjoying the surrounding atmosphere! Who knows they might be checking out hot chiqs man!

I went along with Ying Wei, Vincent and Kim Leong at around 9pm. and when we arrived, Wei Ling, Irna, Esther, Sarven and Jian Wei were already present with their drinks and food. So we rushed to join them and take our seats. Had the 'Roti Meletup' as Christopher called it haha, in other words i had the Roti Bom.

Kok Kuan (in yellow) and Christopher (in red) joined us abit later after we arrived. Chris was seen happily harassing Vincent in the picture above!

I was quite glad to see everyone again, although we had seen each other occasionally once in a month or something like that. I look forward to every yam cha session or gathering any might have, i just feel happy to see the old bunch back again!

" You better burn that shirt ar, ah pek pek! " as Chris silently utters under his lips. LOL.

We cracked silly lame jokes like we used to back in the days of USJ 12. and it felt like Form 5 all over again, haha. only now we are no longer tied down by school rules and discipline! *REJOICE*

" I'm t3h leng chai ar, don't play play with handsome boys, want kena tiok ar? " said Chris.

" Shut up, i m t3h Wang Lee Hom package here ok. " Ying Wei countered.

*PURELY MADE UP CONVERSATION.

We discussed about our SPM for the first time since 3 months. Before this we acted like it was some kind of taboo subject as most of us would just avoid the topic just so we won't get so tensed up with the actual results. I guess the moment of truth is upon us now, so its time once again to talk about SPM. haha.

Suddenly, Sarven began to .......

hahaha. Sarven is just ... being Sarven i guess. the cute and ... DID I JUST SAID CUTE?! holy shhi ... (ahem).

I certainly wouldn't miss a chance to take a photo with my beloved mamami! aka Irna. She has been my mentor since Form 4 i think. Ever with me through thick and thin, providing vital advices when i needed it most and at the same time lend her ears to my problems and rantings. There were even times she cried with me on the phone! haha yea i was very in touch with my emotional side. LOL. So i m very very very VERY thankful she came into my life!

and then again .......

how worse can the situation get some more? LMAO.

Have i ever mention we bunch of Form 5s (2006) of SmK Usj 12 were a bunch of silly monkeys who at the same times practises the gay culture?? LOL. don't blame us man, we were brought up that way! we were just supporting our dear school! haha, no boy-girl relationship. So boy-boy relationship lorr .....

" Saya jumpa 20c, siapa mau? " Sarven asked.

" Saya tak kenal orang hitam berbulu! " Chris answered.

" Eh Sarven, faster go pay with 20c la, u very friend with shop owner rite? see whether got discount till 20c anot? XD " replied Kok Kuan.

.................................. ok that was lame. ANYWAY ..........................

We made a leave at 11.15pm as Sarven had to return home before 12 and considering he had to drop me, Vincent, Wei Ling and Irna back home. So time was really running out for our dear friend. Chris and Kim Leong made their way home on foot as their residence were just across the street while Ying Wei and Kok Kuan went home with their parents' car.

the yam cha session has concluded.

SEE YOU GUYS ON THE 12TH THEN.
